Massive mural to help tell OKC's 'beautiful story'

A five-story mural is set to add some color to an 1,100-space garage being built in connection with the Oklahoma City Convention Center, the Omni Hotel and Scissortail Park. The mural, by glass artist Martin Donlin, will wrap the the south, east and west walls of the garage under construction in the new Park Union District. A 45-year-old Wheatland man was arrested this month for allegedly soliciting sex with a minor and dealing drugs. On May 21, the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mickey Raper, who is accused of having a “graphic sexual social media and texting relationship” with a 14-year-old female. Authorities said Raper believed he was communicating with a Canadian County minor, but instead was communicating with an undercover sheriff's deputy who used a fake social media profile. Raper communicated with the undercover deputy for more than a year, authorities said. In March, the conversations became sexual in nature. Iphithule Moyo (20) of no fixed aboard allegedly killed Naomi Titsha last week on Monday. His younger brother (17), who Titsha had employed at her plot in Rangemore found the body. Moyo allegedly got away with US$80, a cellphone and groceries that were packed in a suitcase which include mealie-meal, rice, washing powder and salt. 9 Covid-19 recoveries in Bulawayo

BULAWAYO has recorded nine Covid-19 recoveries leaving only two active cases but health experts are warning against complacency as it could steer a comeback of the virus. According to an update by the Ministry of Health and Child Care, as of Monday, Bulawayo had nine recoveries, which stem from 12 confirmed cases, one of them fatal. The number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in Zimbabwe remained at 56 as at yesterday afternoon, with 25 recoveries and 27 active cases. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 37 474 which includes 21 709 784 rapid diagnostic (RDT) and 15 765 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests. The latest recoveries were confirmed through two consecutive PCR negative tests from samples taken at least 24 hours apart in line with the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.
